New Jersey school districts, charter schools and renaissance school projects are required by statute (N.J.S.A. 18A: 7C-6.6) to annually notify parents or guardians by October 1 or within 30 days of any statewide student assessment or commercially developed standardized assessment that will be administered over the course of the school year. When the schedule of testing dates becomes available, notification will be sent to parents.

Phillipsburg Elementary School

 
Phillipsburg Elementary School located at 525 Warren Street is centrally located in the Town of Phillipsburg. Most students attending PES walk to school however, students who live over one mile from school or who would need to cross a major thoroughfare are bussed. The school day officially begins at 8:40 AM and ends at 2:40 PM. Students are allowed to enter the building at 8:10 for breakfast.
 
Phillipsburg Elementary School is a Leader in Me School. Academically, students receive 120 minutes of Literacy, 90 minutes of Mathematics, 30 minutes of Science, Social Studies, Health or World Languages and 45 minutes of Art, Library, Physical Education, Music, and Health or World Languages each week. Each day includes a 20 minute recess and the day begins with a 15 minute Leader in Me / Morning Meeting.
