The Kissing Hand:  Listen as Miss O'Hare from PES reads us a story about Chester raccoon, who is anxious about leaving home to go to school. To help ease his worries, Chester's mom shared a family secret with him: the kissing hand. This story warms my heart, and I hope it warms yours too!
 
 
 
 
I'll Always Love You: I'll Always Love You, written by Paeony Lewis, and read by Mrs. Wall, tells the tale of Alex, a young bear who accidentally breaks his mom's favorite honey bowl. Will Alex's mom still love him? Watch and listen to find out!
 
Julius, The Baby of the World:  Written by Kevin Henkes, this story tells is about Lilly, and how she feels about her new baby brother, Julius.  Watch Mrs. Sigafoos as she reads this classic tale of sibling rivalry...and love!
 
 
The Lorax:  This classic tale was written by Dr. Seuss and published in 1971.  It has been a favorite of many, including Miss Bisco who says it is her favorite book!  This is the perfect book to celebrate Earth Day, Arbor Day (which is THIS Friday), and the importance of taking care of our environment- EVERY day!
 
Click, Clack Moo: Cows that Type:  This funny tale is written by Doreen Cronin and read by Miss Unangst from ECLC.  You're sure to giggle as Farmer Brown's cows find an old typewriter in the barn and use it to communicate with Farmer Brown!
 
 
 
Giraffes Can't Dance: Gerald the Giraffe LOVES to dance, but his legs are too skinny and his neck is too long. He dreams of being able to strut his stuff at the Jungle Dance, but all the animals think he looks silly. This book is written by Giles Andreae, and read by Mrs. McCartney, a 1st Grade Teacher at PPS. It is an all-time favorite our house and classroom!
 
 
 
The True Story of the Three Little Pigs:  (Written by John Scieszka) You've probably heard the story of the 3 Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. BUT, have you ever heard the Wolf's side of the story? Mrs. WIlliams reads us a tale with familiar characters, but from a different point of view. Listen as Alexander T. Wolf tells HIS side of the story.
 
 
 
Sad, the Dog:   Written by Sandy Fussell, this is a story about a dog whose owners take care of him, but don't really love him. They don't even give him a name, so he names himself Sad. What will it take to make Sad, the Dog, happy? Find out by listening to Mrs. Hughes, Health teacher at PES and PPS, read the story.
 
 
Oh, the Places You'll Go!: As we wrap up this school year, we take time to reflect on all we've done, and all we want to do in the future. No matter what your plans are, there's no doubt about it: YOU'RE GOING PLACES!  Mr. Smith, from PES, shares one of his favorite books written by Dr. Seuss as the perfect send-off for our students.
